Privacy notice

1. Controller

Name: unconfirmed. Business ID: unconfirmed. Contact for data protection matters: unconfirmed.

2. Data collected through the contact form

Required: name, company or organisation, email address and message.

Optional: phone number, project location, site type (industry, data centre or other), estimated power demand, grid connection status, target schedule and whether you would like a preliminary assessment or quote (stored as a yes/no value).

The time of submission and the form page are also stored. Submissions from both the Finnish page and this English page (/en/contact) are currently recorded with the same form page identifier (/yhteys).

3. Purpose and legal basis of processing

The data is used only to respond to your enquiry and for a preliminary assessment of the project. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry and steps taken prior to entering into a contract. The data is not used for marketing, it is not transferred to a customer relationship management system and no automated emails are sent.

4. Processors and data location

The data is stored in the Lovable Cloud service, whose database runs on the Supabase platform. The geographical region of storage and any transfers outside the EU/EEA, together with their transfer mechanisms: unconfirmed.

5. Retention period

• Enquiries: 24 months from submission. A scheduled daily deletion in the database removes enquiries older than this.
• Abuse prevention data: to limit the number of form submissions, a pseudonymous security identifier calculated from the sender's IP address using a secret key is stored (not the IP address itself). The identifier is pseudonymised data, not anonymous data. Identifiers older than 24 hours are deleted daily; they are retained for no more than about 48 hours.
• Aggregated visitor statistics (no personal data): deleted after about 13 months.

6. Browser storage

The website does not use cookies. Your statistics choice is stored in the browser's local storage (key tehoasema_consent): the choice, version, time and expiry time. The choice expires after 365 days, after which we will ask again.

7. Visitor statistics

Statistics are off by default and start only if you accept them.

• Plausible Analytics – not in use. Not in use. It will only be enabled with consent once Tehoasema's own account has been set up.
• Tehoasema's own aggregated visitor statistics – in use with consent. With consent, only daily counters are stored: the page path, the event name (page view, enquiry sent, quote request) and whether the visitor came from a known AI service (e.g. ChatGPT). No cookies, IP addresses, identifiers, form content or full URLs.

We do not use Google, Meta, LinkedIn or any other marketing tracking.

8. Your rights

You have the right to request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, to object to processing and to restrict it. Requests: contact details unconfirmed. You can also lodge a complaint with the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).
